Ramiro Losada Amor Madrid (España).


Ramiro Losada Amor is a Building Engineer, Architect and PhD (ETSAM) with honours. Following his scholarship studies at the University Lombart Lambert (Belgium), he moved on to work experience in the field of Design, Architecture, and Urbanism in Madrid (Rueda Pizarro Architects), London (Alejandro Zaera, FOA) and Rotterdam (Mecanoo Architecten). Currently he is researching for PhD at ESTAM, titled “Documentary Film Architecture: Construction of the Contemporary Non-fiction for XXI century Architecture”. In 2007 he founded with Alberto García Losada García Architects based in Caceres (Spain) y San Diego with 3 areas of focus: 

Contemporary architecture. Losada García Architectecs has been awarded with prizes of national and international recognition such as Iniciarte-Arco 2010 for Stand Iniciarte, Architectural Record's Design Vanguard 2015 for Tobacco Museum and Peraleda House or Building of the year 2016 by Archdaily-Plataforma Architecture for Tobacco Museum.

University teaching. Since 2007-2014 Losada was Professor of Architectural Design at UEM-Architecture Madrid. He was vising Professor at Technische Universität Braunschweig and Architecture Design Sciences Artesis, Antwerp. Currently is he is Professor at New School of Architecture and Design of San Diego, California.

Audiovisual documentation. Ramiro Losada is founder partner of Studio Banana TV and Studio Banana Asociación Cultural where they make several documentaries and interviews with architects international prestige such as Herzog de MeuronToyo Ito or Mansilla Tuñon o audiovisual documentation of buildings such as Canal Theater (Navarro Baldeweg), Benidorm beach promenade (Carlos Ferrater) or Spanish Pavillion for Expo Shanghai 2010 (EMBT).
